I am also happy to fulfill any special requests for any kind of paintings, just simply contact me and lets discuss your wishes.

How will my painting be shipped?

All Acrylic & Oil based portraits are gallery wrapped meaning that the portrait canvas is stretched onto a wooden frame and upon delivery your hand-painted portrait will be ready to hang.

Steps I take while preparing your oil or acrylic painting for shipping:

  1. Wrap all acrylic and oil paintings in glassine to prevent packing materials from sticking to the surface.
  2. Wrap your painting in bubble wrap, ensuring that the bubbles are facing out and the flat side of the wrap is facing your work.
  3. Tape all seams so they are sealed.
  4. Cut cardboard longer than the height of your painting and slightly wider. Center your painting on the cardboard, then bend the edges of the cardboard over your painting and tape securely with packing tape.
  5. Place the wrapped painting within a premium box.
  6. Place doorskin on both sides of your painting to protect it from puncturing.
  7. Fill the box with foam for a really tight fit.
  8. Seal the box.
  9. Take ultra heavy duty duck tape and wrap it around the edges of the box as an extra precaution.
  10. Label box with shipping specifications such as “fragile”, “do not stack”, and “handle with care”

All other types of portrait paintings are rolled within a tube with a protective sheet of glassine. The painting is then shipped in a hard outer case for further protection.

How long will it take to receive my painting?

Depending on complexity and size, I take from 3-7 business days to complete your portrait painting. I aim to paint your portrait as close as possible to the photo you submit. If you need possible alterations to your painting, it will take an additional 2-4 days. I will ship the completed and approved painting directly to the address indicated by you when you ordered, which will take just a few days. As soon as I ship your product I will email you the tracking information which contains the expected delivery day.  If you need your portrait painting even faster, contact me to discuss the options. Very complex and large paintings may take a bit longer.
